A Pod is a partial pillar that covers a portion of the driver side "A" pillar. Usually the lower portion of the driver side "A" pillar is covered from dash to just above the mounting location of the upper gauge housing.

Now if that wasn't confusing enough some vehicles will have an option for a right side/ passenger side Pillar, Pod, Dash, Overhead Console, Steering Column or Dash Insert. **** Not all options are available for all vehicles, option will be noted if it is available for your vehicle.

All Specialty Pod's will have 2-1/16" gauge openings to fit all of Dakota Digital 2-1/16" Digital Gauges and most aftermarket gauges.
