Ross Ortman, President and founder of Dakota Digital, is pictured at his desk.
You can usually find him on the go, overseeing all aspects of the business including areas like the design and construction of the new building.

Our highly skilled production crew handles the assembly and testing of every product.
Most every aspect of manufacturing is handled in-house to ensure stringent quality controls.

Shipping and receiving handles the daily "comings and goings" of the business, making sure orders are filled and shipped on time.

Our large shop area contains state of the art CNC milling centers and turning lathes along with various other metal fabricating equipment.
Stacks of aluminum await their fate. We turn, mill and finish the instrument bezels and housings along with the other aluminum items we sell.

Much of the aluminum ends up "on the cutting room floor" as you can see from the chips in one of our machining centers.

To make the instrumentation lenses, plastic sheets are engraved and cut with a precision laser to ensure quality and accuracy in the manufacturing process.
Most of our instrumentation uses a lens material with a scratch resistant coating, with many applications adding a non-glare finish.

The new Research and Development laboratory allows access to vehicles for extensive testing.  The laboratory contains a four-post lift, in-ground dyno and full complement of necessities.
