Ford Gen1 and Gen2 Coyote Oil Pressure Adaptor
From Dakota Digital
Ford’s Coyote engines are coming in to their own in the hot rod world, but transplanting one into your classic is not without road blocks. One of which is connecting instrumentation; oil pressure data is not available on the CAN/Bus system for the BIM-01-2 interface to read, so the supplied 1/8”NPT sensor must be installed. This brass adapter is machined in the USA and features ¼” NPTF male threads to fit your Gen 1 and Gen 2 Coyote block, along with female threads to accommodate the stock sensor. On the side is a 1/8” NPTF port to accept the Dakota Digital oil pressure sensor. No drilling and tapping required; simply thread in and go!
*A range of 2016 GEN II F-150 engines used a GEN III type of pressure switch (identified with a black connector body), which contained a 12mm male thread. The 130071 is not compatible with this variation, nor GEN III applications.
