Prepress Drafting and Design

For over 30 years, our company has designed, manufactured, and sold instrumentation and electronic accessories for the automotive, and motorcycle aftermarket. Our products are sold all around the world and our customers range from local hobbyists to major corporations. We cater to exciting and thriving industries that help create an enjoyable and varied work environment. We are looking for an individual who will work in-house as a Prepress Draftsperson. This person will be working with the creation and modification of the pre-press files and must have a knowledge of AutoCAD.  Additional benefits would be a background in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, or the ability to learn these programs.  Above average communication skills, solid computer skills and positive attitude a requirement. Knowledge of, as well as interest in, the custom automotive environment would be an asset.

 Duties:

Working with Engineering, Production and the Custom Shop to convert CAD documents to Illustrator EPS print files
Working with the Custom Shop to produce mockups and renderings for customer approval
Coordinate, create, archive and submit all UV print projects
Create laser-cutting files to prepare UV printed components for use in production
Review completed projects to ensure that the design goal has been met and specifications meet standards

 This is a Monday- Friday position. Wage based on experience.
