We’re looking to add a creative, motivated individual to our custom shop! The ideal candidate has a strong drive to succeed and turn out a high-quality finished product time after time, along with a healthy creative streak, attention to detail and an eye for what looks “good”. Follow-through and multitasking are a must, as are experience with power tools and the ability to work with their hands. CAD/SolidWorks experience, machining experience, with both CNC and manual-operation equipment, and electrical engineering background is a plus!
Our products are sought after all over the world, and by some of the most talented builders in the industry. Dakota Digital has a robust catalog of direct-fit instrument systems for a wide variety of classic and custom vehicles, but we simply can’t cover all vehicles! As a result, our custom shop is a packed to the gills with one-off retro-fit projects. Working in the custom shop, you’ll be dissecting OEM instrument clusters from vehicles ranging from the 1920s through today, and rebuilding with our state of the art components.
The vast majority of Dakota Digital’s products are used in show vehicles both local and national, many garnering features in magazines, social media outlets and events such as Goodguys, NSRA as well as the SEMA Show. Customs are no exception, if not more likely to end up in the spot light. With this rare job opening, we aim to up our game, to make sure Dakota Digital’s custom shop is able to hang with the greats and continue to be the very best in instrumentation.
